Before you do anything else, you need to decide on a few basic things which you’ll add to the Personal Details section of the character sheet.
You can choose any name you want for your character. It might follow the usual first name and last name format, like Margorie Higgins, or it might be a nickname that you have adopted (or had thrust upon you by your mates) like Salty or Ox.
Write down your character’s species. If you fancy playing something a little more exotic than human, you can choose from any of the species listed in the bestiary with your GM’s approval.
Gender, Age, Height and Weight
Are you male or female, tall, short, thin or rotund? Record your physical appearance here. As Shapers uses metric measurements write your height in meters and your weight in kilograms. Below are a couple of quick conversion charts if you are used to using Imperial measurements for things.
|Height (Feet and Inches)||Height (Metres)|
|Weight (Stone and Pounds)||Weight (Kilograms)|
Skin, Hair and Eyes
Note down anything interesting about your features like colour, size and shape. You might have white and weathered or tanned skin for instance. Your hair could be long, short or styled. Your eyes can be various shades of colour or you might be one of those rare individuals with mismatching eyes.
